Base composition 30 % G; 19.7 % A; 26 % C; 24.3 % U. Base composition of ds genome 56.8 % (G + C). Infectivity retained when deproteinised with phenol or detergent (1/2), or lost when deproteinised with phenol or detergent (1/2). Poly A region absent (1/1). Additional factor not required for infectivity (1/1).
