in Triticum aestivum; from the former USSR; by Sukhov (1943).
Natural host range and symptoms
- Triticum
aestivum - mosaic leaf symptoms.
Transmission
Transmitted by a vector; an insect;
Psammotettix striatus, P. alienus; Delphacidae. Transmitted in a
persistent manner (circulative). Virus transmitted congenitally to the progeny
of the vector; not transmitted by mechanical inoculation.
Geographical
distribution
Spreads in the former USSR.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
- Triticum aestivum - mosaic leaf symptoms.

Particle morphology
Virions rhabdo- or
bullet-shaped; enveloped; with a clear modal length; of 260 nm; 60 nm wide
