Studies reported by Mullin et al. (1975).

Geographical distribution

Spreads in Australia, Canada, and the USA.

Experimental host range

Few (<3) families susceptible. Experimentally infected plants mostly show leaf deformation and chlorosis and dwarfing of the plant.

• Fragaria × ananassa, F. vesca - symptomless.
• Fragaria virginiana - leaf deformation, chlorosis and dwarfing.
