First reported
in Sorghum bicolor; from Kansas, U.S.A.
Natural host range and symptoms
- Sorghum
bicolor - elongated, concentric chlorotic spots.
Transmission
A fungal vector is suspected. Virus
transmitted by mechanical inoculation.

distribution
Found, but with no evidence of spread, in Kansas, but not
reported from other states in the U.S.A.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
- Chenopodium amaranticolor - chlorotic local lesions.
- C. quinoa - ringspots.
- Zea mays - elongated
chlorotic spots.
- Nicotiana clevelandii - yellowing and necrotic
local lesions.
