Particle morphology
Virions rhabdo- or
bullet-shaped; of 288 nm (in vivo), or 210 nm (for damaged virions found in
negatively stained sap); 68 nm wide.
Cytopathology
Virions found in mesophyll within membrane
bound vesicles; in the perinuclear space.
