in Oryza sativa; from Ivory Coast; by Louvel and Bidaux (1977).
Natural host range and symptoms
Symptoms persist.
- Oryza sativa - chlorotic striping and necrosis of leaves,
stunting and reduced tillering.
Transmission
Transmitted by a vector; a fungus;
Polymyxa graminis. Virus transmitted by mechanical inoculation; not
transmitted by seed.
Geographical distribution

Cote d'Ivoire.
Experimental host range
Few (<3) families susceptible.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
- Chenopodium amaranticolor - chlorotic local lesions.
- Nicotiana benthamiana - necrotic ringspots.
