Natural host range and symptoms
- Rhynchosia
minima - leaf chlorosis and curling.
Transmission
Transmitted by a vector; an insect;
Bemisia tabaci; Aleyrodidae. Virus transmitted by mechanical inoculation
(with difficulty from Phaseolus vulgaris to Glycine max (Jilke and
Utermohlen, 1986)).
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
- Phaseolus vulgaris, Macroptilium lathyroides, Canavalia
ensiformis, Cajanus cajan, Nicotiana glutinosa, N. tabacum, Abelmoschus
esculentus, Gossypium hirsutum - leaf curling and chlorosis.
- Glycine max cv. Williams - yellow-green mosaic and stunting.
