in Arachis hypogaea (wild hybrid); from Oklahoma, U.S.A.; by Wagih et
al. (1994).
Natural host range and symptoms
Symptoms Arachis
hypogaea (wild hybrid) - few chlorotic rings, green blotching, smaller
leaf laminae.
Transmission
Virus transmitted by mechanical inoculation.
Geographical distribution
Found, but with no evidence of
spread, in Oklahoma, U.S.A.
Experimental host range
Few (<3) families susceptible.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
- Arachis hypogaea cvs Pronto and Tamnut 74 - severe leaf
chlorosis and distortion, plants stunted.
- Glycine max - systemic
leaf chlorosis (some cultivars).
- Phaseolus vulgaris cv. Top Crop,
Chenopodium amaranticolor - local necrotic lesions.
Diagnostically insusceptible host species
Cucumis
sativus, Datura stramonium, Petunia × hybrida and Vigna
unguiculata.
Maintenance and propagation hosts
Arachis hypogaea cv. Tamnut 74.

Phaseolus vulgaris cv. Top Crop (W), Chenopodium amaranticolor
