Natural host range and symptoms
Symptoms persist.
- Prunus persica - small enations on abaxial leaf surfaces;
shortening of internodes.
Transmission
Virus transmitted by mechanical inoculation;
transmitted by grafting.
Geographical distribution
Experimental host range
Several (3-9) families
susceptible.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and
symptoms
- Celosia cristata, Chenopodium quinoa - local
lesions; systemic leaf mottling.
- Chenopodium album, C. amaranticolor
- systemic leaf mottling.
- Gomphrena globosa, Nicotiana glutinosa, N.
megalosiphon, N. tabacum, Physalis floridana - symptomless systemic
infection.
- Petunia × hybrida - local lesions; symptomless
systemic infection.
Diagnostically insusceptible host species
Brassica campestris ssp. rapa, Cucumis sativus, Datura
stramonium, Phaseolus vulgaris, Pisum sativum.
