Natural host range and symptoms
Amorphophallus
konjac - leaf mosaic.
Transmission
Transmitted by a vector; an insect; Aphis
gossypii; Aphididae. Transmitted in a non-persistent manner. Virus
transmitted by mechanical inoculation.
Geographical
distribution
Spreads in the Eastern Asian region; Japan.
Experimental host range
Few (<3) families susceptible.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
Amorphophallus konjac, Philodendron oxycardium, P. selloum
- leaf mosaic.
Diagnostically insusceptible host species
Chenopodium amaranticolor, C. quinoa, Phaseolus vulgaris, Nicotiana
benthamiana, N. clevelandii, N. glutinosa, N. tabacum.
