in Iris kaempferi; from Japan; by Yasukawa et al. (1991).
Natural host range and symptoms
- Iris kaempferi
- necrotic spindle-shaped necrotic streaks or rings in leaves.
Transmission
Not transmitted by Myzus persicae,
Rhopalosiphum padi. Virus transmitted by mechanical inoculation.
Geographical distribution
Experimental host range
Few (<3) families susceptible.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
- Iris kaempferi - necrotic streaks and rings in
systemically infected leaves.
- Iris laevigata, I. sanguinea -
symptomless systemic infection.
