in Macrotyloma uniflorum; from India; by Muniyappa et al. (1976).
Natural host range and symptoms
Symptoms persist.
- Cajanus cajan, Glycine max, Indigofera hirsuta, Macrotyloma
uniflorum, Phaseolus lunatus, P. vulgaris, Vigna mungo, V. radiata -
mosaic, mottling and yellowing.
Transmission
Transmitted by a vector; an insect;
Bemisia tabaci; Aleyrodidae. Transmitted in a non-persistent manner.
Virus not transmitted by mechanical inoculation; not transmitted by contact
between plants; not transmitted by seed; not transmitted by pollen.
Geographical distribution
Experimental host range
Few (<3) families susceptible.
Diagnostically susceptible host species and symptoms
- Glycine max - systemic mottle, mosaic, pod and seed
malformation.
- Macrotyloma uniflorum, Phaseolus lunatus, P. vulgaris
- systemic mottle, mosaic, yellowing, pod and seed malformation.
