Symptoms persist.
- Euonymus japonica, E. japonica var. microphylla -
vein-yellowing and chlorotic spotting.
Geographical distribution
Found, but with no evidence of
spread, in Yugoslavia.

Particle morphology
Virions rhabdo- or
bullet-shaped; with a clear modal length; of 300 nm (in sections); 70 nm wide
(in sections).
Cytopathology
Virions found in cytoplasm and in the
perinuclear space.

General comments
It is not known
whether a rhabdovirus from fasciated Euonymus japonica in France
(Codaccioni and Cossard, 1975) is related to this virus.
