Natural host range and symptoms
Transmission
Not transmitted by Myzus persicae.
Virus transmitted by mechanical inoculation; not transmitted by seed.
Geographical distribution
Spreads in the Middle East.
Experimental host range
Several (3-9) families
susceptible. Experimentally infected plants mostly show etching and necrosis.

- Solanum melongena - systemic mild mottling.
- Nicotiana tabacum cvs Havana 425 and Xanthi-nc - necrotic
etching of leaves, stunting, plant dies sometimes.
