Symptoms yellow or green mosaic with pitting.
- Lablab purpureus - yellow mosaic.
Transmission
Transmitted by a vector; an insect;
Bemisia tabaci; Aleyrodidae. Transmitted in a semi-persistent manner.
Virus retained when the vector moults; does not multiply in the vector; not

mechanical inoculation; transmitted by grafting.
Ecology and
control

Experimental host range
Few (<3) families susceptible.
Experimentally infected plants mostly show yellow mosaic.

Assay hosts (Local lesions or Whole plants)
Susceptible host species
Families containing susceptible hosts
Physical and biochemical properties
Particle morphology
Virions geminate; not enveloped; 20
nm in diameter; dimers 30 nm in length.
