biochemical properties
Properties of particles in sap
TIP:
50-60 °C. LIV: less than 1 days. DEP: log10 minus 1-2.
Particle morphology
Virions filamentous; not enveloped;
usually flexuous; with a clear modal length; of 707-808 nm.
Cytopathology
Virions found in all parts of the host
plant; in cytoplasm. Inclusions present in infected cells; are pinwheels; they
do not contain virions.
