Physical and biochemical properties
Particle morphology
Virions rhabdo- or
bullet-shaped; with a clear modal length; of 142 nm (in vivo); 58 nm
wide (in vivo). Axial canal obvious.
Cytopathology
Virions found in all parts of the host
plant, especially the companion cells; in the perinuclear space.
