Genome consists of RNA;

The dsRNA genome of the virus shows no significant homology with
those of carrot temperate 2, 3, 4 and 5 cryptoviruses.
Best tests for
diagnosis
The virus often occurs in mixed
infections with other carrot temperate cryptoviruses.
