Natural host range and symptoms
- Canavalia
maritima - mosaic, mottling, vein banding and leaf malformation.
Transmission
Transmitted by a vector; an insect; Aphis
craccivora, A. gossypii, Myzus persicae; Aphididae. Not transmitted by
Dactynotus ambrosiae. Virus transmitted by mechanical inoculation.
Geographical distribution
Experimental host range

malformation.

biochemical properties
Properties of particles in sap
TIP:
55-60 °C. DEP: log10 minus 3. Leaf sap contains many virions.
Particle morphology
Virions filamentous; not enveloped.
Cytopathology
Virions found in all parts of the host
plant; in cytoplasm. Inclusions present in infected cells; are pinwheels.
